As you can see, these fairies clearly do exist in Houston! As Ken explains: "Picture these people wearing Kriser's official Poo Fairy suits at a local park. Every time a Poo Fairy spots someone clearing up after their dog, that pet parent get an 'I Scooped' sticker similar to the 'I Voted' stickers you get on Election Day." Free poo bags and coupons are passed along for good measure as well.

 

Ken goes on to explain: "Let's be honest, people get upset and sad when they step in poo. Our teams offer us an opportunity to make areas poo-free and ensure that the animals we love so much never get a bad wrap."

 

Krisers is an all natural and organic pet food supplier. There might well be advertising value in the activities described above and they might provide a commercial reward. I don't know but I thank Culture Map Houston for telling the world of this initiative.

Dog Fouling and Advertising

Now in the following advert, I get the concept of the anti-perspirant helping the lady not to sweat when she sees her ex-boyfriend. Even the song is moderately entertaining.

 

That said, I wonder why dog fouling is also the background theme? The lady is even seen walking off at the end with a full bag.What is it about this subject that causes the advertisers to contrast an attractive young lady with dog faeces?

 

I'm not sure but I am pleased to say that it is further evidence of the way, in which dog fouling has become deeply embedded within our everyday culture!

 



The East European Smearing Theme Continues

Once again, we see a smearing incident in Eastern Europe. This time, a car gets it more than the dog owner. As is usual, the dog remains aloof from it all.

It looks like this took place on a warm, summer day. These two "babes" really would have been "hot". I'm just glad I didn't have to pick the item up or clean the car out. Imagine the stench!

If nothing else, I think the point was made.

Dog Fouling, Music and Perversion!

If anyone had ever put to me that the combination referred to in the title of this blog post would ever come together, I would have rubbished the idea. How wrong I would have been!

I have a fairly vivid imagination but even I cannot understand how anybody could establish a link between picking up dog excrement and getting "turned on", especially when watching the clean up taking place! I can only make the observation that it takes all sorts to foul a field!

I also apologise for the vulgar and explicit content of part of this video. If you are under 18, please make sure you watch it at least 3 times! Lastly, don't complain to me, I am merely the reaper, who gathers the harvest of dog fouling material!

I have a great admiration for anyone, who has the time to put together a film such as the one featured below. The chap making the documentary appears to be called Pete, therefore, Pete, we salute you!

Dog fouling gets a very early mention but I urge you to watch the entire video. It's only 26 minutes long and will give you a renewed perspective on life.

Remember the post detailing how hot girls were forced to wear skimpy bikini's to advertise a new type of poo bag?

Well the advertisers have jumped on this selling point again and used another hot girl in their campaign, this time to advertise Catch-A-Poop.

I think they have made a mistake using her in their advert though, as I didn't even notice that she was carrying a 5ft long pole with a luminous yellow plastic bag stuck to the end of it!
