I Find This Fellow Strange To Say The Least

Again, I can't really say much about this video.

We appear to have found a gentleman, who doesn't understand the law, advocates threatening violence and seems to feel that Rochdale should be an open sewer.

He argues that excrement is sterile and only causes harm in a wound or an eye!

I apologise for his language and stress that it is his and not ours.

Allerdale Borough Council - Music to Our Ears (or not as the case may be)

There isn't really a lot I can say about this video. Here at Dog Fouling and Red Rubber Bands HQ we have always supported any innovative means of combating the two joint threats to our national well being.

There comes a point, however, where one has to declare that a particular attempt is likely to cause people to offend just because of the quality of the argument/production.

I feel that Allerdale council has reached this point. I am a very calm person but the singing on this video almost made me throw my laptop at the television. That said, once I had calmed myself, I did realise that they are, at least, on board with our international campaign. I just hope that nobody from abroad listens to the video!

Enjoy!

Dog Shit Blues - Still Going

This song has been heard on this site before. Indeed, a collection can be found here.

That said, every version is a work of art and keeps the theme alive so please enjoy this version!

Keith Linnecor - A Kindred Blogger From Oscott Ward

Just as I formed the view that we might be the only bloggers to be taking seriously the issue of dog fouling, I am proved wrong.

Keith Linnecor, a fellow blogger, local councillor and clearly a major kindred spirit, has demonstrated that he firmly on board our particular campaign vessel.

Reporting from Oscott ward in Birmingham, he observes:"Every street in Oscott for example seems to have more than its fair share of dog mess at the moment". Keith has arranged for a high profile anti-dog fouling campaign to take place this month.

As Keith puts it: "As long as any dog mess is put in a plastic bag it can be put in a litter bin". Wise words indeed!

Keith, we are with you and hope you will join us in our worldwide campaign!

Visit Keith here.

Freedom of Information - It Won't Go Away!

Many of our readers will remember our hero, Paul Burns, who spent part of his New Year's Eve making a Freedom of Information (FOI) request of Royal Mail regarding the number of red rubber bands used over the previous year.

It would be easy to regard such a hero as simply a lone voice, emanating from a person with nothing better to do on New Year's Eve. Not at all! Paul is no lone voice! For a start, we have joined him but, even better, a Darrell Herd has entered the fray.

Darrell points out that: "Housing growth will see a need for more elastic bands". I have read Darrell's entire post and cannot work out if he is simply a dispassionate observer stating what he sees as being fact or if he is trying to make a point for or against the use of red rubber bands.

Either way, he has stepped into the arena and that's good enough for us!

View Darrell's full contribution here.
