Rather than fine postmen for dropping the odd red rubber band here and there ... how about we get offenders to pick them up as part of their community service?
If they are allergic to rubber, then so much the better!
A good idea but, again, tackles the symptom rather than the cause.
How about we make postal workers, who are guilty of this behaviour, spend their days off dressed in bright red tracksuits clearing up litter?
The tracksuits could display the logo "Don't get Banned for a Band!" Totally meaningless but would teach respect.
